Jim Peterik and Jeff Carlisi On What Makes A Great Product
Our Camp Jam rock and roll summer camp is underway now across the U.S., and one of our good friends and “Master Class” instructors Jim Peterik of Survivor was in Atlanta to talk with our campers about the importance of being an effective team member.
While he was in town, I had the chance to talk with Jim, along with RockStarCEO’s Jeff Carlisi, about the art of collaborating in order to make a great product, or in their case, great songs. No doubt, it’s a subject the two of them know better than most. One of the most successful rock songwriters over the past four decades, Jim not only co-wrote the rock anthem “Eye of the Tiger” but also collaborated with Jeff on a number of 38 Special hits such as “Hold On Loosely” and “Caught Up On You.”
